· Author of about 300 scientific publications, including 15 monographs and 10 university textbooks.
· A. Asankanov has made a significant contribution to the training of young scholars, serving as the scientific supervisor for 11 Doctors and about 40 Candidates of Historical Sciences in the specialty “07.00.07 – Ethnography, Ethnology and Anthropology.” His students successfully defended their dissertations and work in various fields of science, education, culture, and public service.
· He played an even greater role in the organization and activities of the Dissertation Council for the defense of candidate and doctoral dissertations in history at the Kyrgyz National University named after J. Balasagyn and the Institute of History, Archaeology and Ethnology named after B. Zhamgyrchinov of the NAS KR.
